The Coryell family Christmas gift exchange was fun and wild, as such things can only be with 6 children under the age of five. All the gifts from the Coryell Castle were handmade- part of my attempt to enjoy a handmade holiday with the munchkins.
Ashley's gift inspired and excited many of us, so I thought I would share her take on The Frugal Girls' photo coasters (tutorial at link). Rather than use a smooth backing, Ashley gave the photos an aged effect by gluing them to stone tiles. Almost too pretty to use as a coaster- we don't have any coaster-worthy furniture in our casa anyway. I think I'm going to use a glue gun and put some mounting on the back so we can gaze lovingly at our coaster faces on the wall.
